Leeds Guide: Roundhay

Roundhay is an attractive area to wander round with its gracious Victorian villas and terraces. Several miles north of Leeds city centre, it is also close to neighbouring villages Chapel Allerton, Moortown and Shadwell.
Roundhay Park, situated in the heart of Roundhay, is famous for its beautiful gardens, lakes, fountains and waterfall and is of course home to one of Yorkshire’s main tourist attractions, Tropical World.

Open all year round excluding Christmas Day and Boxing Day, Tropical World is one of the UK’s most popular garden tourist attractions and home to the largest collection of tropical plants outside Kew Gardens. A great day out for all the family!
