This time last month, both letting and estate agents were hit with the news that no more property viewings should take place, as part of the Government’s attempts to help prevent the spread of Covid 19. Despite the cancelled viewings, it is still very much business as usual for us at Redbrick, meaning we’ve had to come up with new and innovative ways to adapt to such unprecedented times.
Although an inevitably challenging time for letting agents across the country, at Redbrick we have managed to survive what we would’ve expected to be a very difficult month. In fact, we have not just survived; we have thrived, with April proving to be one of our best months in recent years, whilst receiving great feedback from new applicants along the way.
As an experienced letting agency, we understand how important the viewing of a property is to our tenants. Although you may not be able to physically attend house viewings, we have found new ways to bring the properties to you.
Our viewing tours have been extremely successful, with the help of our wonderful tenants who have adopted a Phil Spencer, ‘Location Location Location’ styled approach, delivering high quality and informative videos. So a big thank you to all the tenants who have helped us make these video tours such a success! Check one out here:
Through the use of virtual tours combined with honest commentary from current tenants, we have been able to continue successfully letting properties and provide our viewers with a high level of customer service.
Originally from Nottingham, I moved to Leeds at 18 to study BSc Sports and Exercise Science at Leeds Beckett University. Upon finishing my degree, it became clear that I had developed a personal interest and passion for property. The idea that I could combine my interests with a career became a reality for me when I was offered my current role at Redbrick as the Lettings Negotiator. This role has further cemented my desire to continue a career in property, as I really enjoy working with the viewers to find them their new home and help manage their properties from the very start to the very end of their tenancy with us.
Before property however, my biggest passion is Nottingham Forest FC, where I currently have a season ticket in A Block. Outside of work, I enjoy going to the gym, going out with my mates and spending time with my family. I still currently live in Leeds with my university friends in Headingley.
