So, where do I start with this...
The location of this flat is excellent, minutes walk away from the park, a few more minutes to the University, and then a few more minutes walk to the city centre. There is also a private car park for residence of these flats. What a bonus indeed.
The Lounge... the lounge is huge, and has some really great original features, such as the ceiling coving, and the original fireplace surround. Not to mention the floor to ceiling window. The furniture? Well it's solid to say the least, and some of it may even be worth something by now, but it is within keeping of the flat, and won't break within the first few months of your tenancy, for it's lasted the last 30 years without incident.
The Bedrooms... both the bedrooms are also great size doubles, and unlike most of the other furniture in the house, the beds are modern and new. There is plenty of storage in both rooms also. So it's a win win in the bedrooms. Large with double bed and loads of storage.
The Kitchen... in comparison to the rest of the property the kitchen is futuristic! With its white fitted units and free-standing gas cooker you could well be excused for thinking you've walked through a worm-hole into the future, the 1990's!!! Lot's a great storage and a massive fridge freezer that could actually be new-ish.
The Bathroom... functional is a good word to use here. It boasts a shower, and a separate toilet within the bathroom. There is a sink, a radiator and some decent storage. It's clean and does what it's supposed to.
To sum up, although this may not be the most modern city centre style apartment (out of the city centre), it has decades worth of character, in what is a huge property, all managed by a really fantastic landlady, whom like the flat, will not let you down.
