ESTAS 2016 (Estate Agent & Letting Awards)

Redbrick Properties wins Gold Award for the Best Letting Agent In Yorkshire as voted by Tenants at The ESTAS, the most prestigious estate & letting agent awards in the UK.

The award was announced by Phil Spencer, the TV property expert at a luncheon & ceremony at the Grosvenor House, Park Lane London attended by 900 of the UK’s top property professionals. The awards, celebrating their 13th year determine the best estate and letting agents in the UK through research carried out amongst clients who are asked a series of questions about the service they have received from their agent, over 30,000 questionnaires were completed by customers during the competition.

Phil Spencer, who has hosted the ESTAS said

"for many customers moving home is one of the most stressful experiences of their lives. So it’s our job as agents, mortgage brokers, conveyancers or developers to help make the journey as smooth as possible. It only takes one bad apple to reflect badly on the others so it’s crucial everyone provides the high quality service the customer expects and deserves. For this reason The ESTAS recognises all firms involved in the buying and selling process. Agents, brokers, conveyancers and developers are all judged in exactly the same way, purely on customer feedback”.

Redbrick Properties wins the Gold Award for Best Letting Agent In Yorkshire & The Humber at The ESTAS 2015, the most prestigious estate & letting agent awards in the UK!

The awards, celebrating their 12th year determine the best estate and letting agents in the UK through research carried out amongst customers who are asked a series of questions about the service they have received from their agent, over 25,000 questionnaires were completed by customers during the competition.

Phil Spencer, who has hosted the ESTAS every year since their inception in 2003 said,

“The ESTAS are about making people happy, putting a smile on their face and making a genuine difference to peoples’ lives. An agent’s role is about guiding people through one of the most stressful times in their lives and that’s not an easy job. The ESTAS help agencies to focus on customer service levels and that’s why firms keep coming back year after year”.

Redbrick Properties have once again won a Silver trophy in the ESTAS 2013 Letting Awards for Best Letting Agent in Yorkshire & Humber, making us the only Leeds letting agent to finish in the top three twice in the last two Awards.

The sell-out national awards, attended by some 650 agents from around the country, held at the Hilton Park Lane Hotel in London, was once again hosted by Phil Spencer who reminded the audience that the awards are "very difficult to win. A well written submission and some nice glossy photos of the office will not get you on the shortlist". The ESTAS are, he said, decided "by your harshest critic - the public."

Improving on our ESTAS 2012 Landlord feedback score of 97%, we managed to achieve a 2013 Landlord feedback score of 98.6%, putting this largely down to improvements that we have made since the 2012 awards, as well as taking on more staff allowing extra attention to our landlords when needed.

As well as being incredibly service driven, here at Redbrick Properties we are also very award driven, as achieving commendation in a national industry award can only be achieved by offering the best possible service to our clients.

And on our first attempt, Redbrick Properties earned the status of No.1 Letting Agent in Leeds as well as the No.1 Independent Letting Agent in Yorkshire & Humberside, by winning a Silver Award at the ESTAS 2012, only one podium place down from one of the country's largest national property letting chains.

With a positive feedback score of 97.0408% from the landlords whom voted, we were only 0.0367% behind the Gold Award winners!

The award was announced by Phil Spencer, the TV property expert, at a lavish luncheon and ceremony at the Hilton Park Lane Hotel in London, attended by 550 of the UK's top estate and letting agents.

Phil Spencer himself backed up the importance of our award by stating, "The ESTAS are the most important and valuable awards in our industry. An ESTA is not an easy accolade to pick up; to win one requires a lot of hard work, over a very long period of time."

Simon Brown, organiser of the awards added "Agents that take part in the ESTAS believe passionately in providing the highest quality customer service. They are prepared to go that extra mile, prepared to take criticism as well as praise and prepared to invest and develop their businesses accordingly."

The results of the competition were determined by research carried out amongst customers who are asked a series of questions about the service they have received from their agent. Over 33,000 votes were received making it the biggest consumer survey of its kind in the property industry.
